RE/MAX is proud to be the exclusive real estate sponsor to the Children’s Miracle Network; an international non-profit organization, which consists of 170 children’s hospitals providing state-of-the-art, life-saving care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The hospitals treat 17 million children each year for every disease and condition imaginable including cancer, pediatric aids, muscular dystrophy, sickle cell anemia, birth defects, asthma and accidents. Supporting Children’s Miracle Network hospitals is the most effective way to save the lives of children throughout North America. Since 1992 RE/MAX Sales Associates have raised in excess of $50 million for CMN, $21 million of that in Canada alone, in contributions through RE/MAX’s Miracle Program in Canada. RE/MAX Rouge River Realty Ltd has been designated a Miracle Office since the year 2000 which is an exclusive designation for RE/MAX offices with 100% agent participation in the program. In 2013, RE/MAX Rouge River Realty Ltd, its staff and associates have cummulatively donated in excess of $300,000 to the Children's Miracle Network Foundation and has been honoured with a plaque in the Donor Hall of Fame at Toronto SickKids Hospital.
RE/MAX real estate professionals also take an active role in creating a future without breast cancer through the RE/MAX “Sold on a Cure” program through which the RE/MAX Rouge River team contributed $5,327.00 in 2011 plus $3,600 with the Yard Sale for the Cure, to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. RE/MAX Rouge River also participates annually in the CIBC Run for The Cure. In 2013, RE/MAX Rouge River's staff and associates have raised $11,000 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation through two events held, the Yard Sale for the Cure and Bowling for the Cure. Some of the RE/MAX Rouge agents and staff also donate both their time and over $5,500.00 towards providing Breakfast for many children at Toronto’s Tom Longboat Public School. |
